04/03/2010 - DATES FOR YOUR DIARY!At the Club meeting on Monday, March 1st, dates for a number of important club events were fixed.
Top of the list is the Audco Annual General Meeting, which will be held in SUTHERLAND HALL on WEDNESDAY APRIL 21ST at 7.30pm. This will include (very) brief reports from each of the club's officers, election of officers for the coming year and any other business. Notice of any motions or items for discussion to be included on the agenda must be given to secretary Ian Mould at least 30 days prior to the meeting, i.e. no later than March 22.The CLUB INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (Portsmouth Round) have been switched from 21st April to WEDNESDAY 28th April in FORD HALL, sighters 7.30pm.The Club's Annual GORDON AUSTIN\DON FIELDER Shoot (Senior & Junior Warwick Rounds) will be held on WEDNESDAY, 23RD JUNE @ AUDCO FIELD, Sighters 7.30pm.The Audco HERITAGE shoot in the Shropshire AS Heritage Series will be held on SUNDAY, 15TH AUGUST @ LONGFORD HALL, Sighters 1pm.In addition, we have decided to organise a number of Club Shooting Sessions on Saturday afternoons OUTDOORS AT AUDCO FIELD from May to September, starting at 1.30pm. They will incorporate our first ever entry in the Summer Postal League, but will be open to any club member to come along to shoot for practice, or whatever, as per a usual Club Session.Dates arranged are: May 22nd; June 12th; July 17th; August 7th and September 4th.Summer Postal League: Our first venture in to this competition: teams of THREE archers shooting a Half Metric round (3dozen @ 50m; 3doz @ 30m). Come along and give it a go - great practice for your next tournament!
